Rachel Zoe Resort 2012

THUMBS UP!

A continuación mis piezas favoritas:

Missoni Resort 2012

AMAZING Editorial!

I was just watching some pics yesterday at night, when suddenly I discovered one of the latest editorials photoshoots of Vogue Russia. The images instantly reminded me of Black Swan, maybe because of the amazing scenario, the incredible outfits, and the combination of sweetness and some rebellious personalities.

I think the images are beautiful, the light effects create elegance, and a classy style. I loved all the outfits, even the white "tutus" with the models wearing feathers in their hair. You can say I'm obsessed with Black Swan, one of the most eye catching stories, powerful characters, and a creepy and interesting plot. MUST MOVIE!!

Here are all the pictures from this editorial, if someone has the chance to buy the magazine... YOU HAVE TO DO IT!

Dresses I'm Dying for...

No, it's not my prom or graduation... I'm not having a wedding or an important event, I just really love the finishing of dresses, the fabrics, the colors, the vibe, elegance, chicness (if that's even a word), classy style, personality... I love everthing about THEM! I wish I had a lot of special ocassions to wear one of these amazing pieces, meanwhile, I just admire them in beautiful pics.
My favorite designers for this piece of clothing are: Monique Lhuillier, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Rachel Roy, Bibhu Mohapatra, among others...

Here, as always, my favorite pieces:

Tribal is ON!

Spring collections were a blast (at least for me). I mean, I don't have the chance to admire them LIVE, but I am really greateful about the existence of STYLE.COM, my guide and full library of images of the newest trends.
I was just watching a bunch of images, when I discover the revival of tribal inspiration. Designers did its best with their combination of earth tones, mettalics, and lots of materials that created and transformed statement necklaces. I have love this trend since it started at its full... I love the bohemian chic inspiration, and the girly vibe that this accesories can give to any outfit.

Here are some of my favorite pieces. (BTW... I love accesories, and I'm dying to get one of this amazing necklaces).

Valentino Haute Couture Spring 2011

I have to say that the new creative directors of Valentino are finally getting the whole transformation of the brand. On the last Haute Couture collection I was able to appreciate a youthful vibe, classy dresses, girly inspiration and lots of luxury with edge anf flirtiness. The classic "old woman look" was left behind, and now we have a fresh breeze full of creativity and subtleness.

The soft color palette was the perfect contrast with the enigmatic "VALENTINO RED". The dresses were embellished with lace details, full skirts with soft and dramatic textures, simple lines and finishing, and a very clean look. I didn't like that much the hair and makeup, but overall this collection was perfect, dreamy and so chic.

Here are my favorite looks of these amazing pieces of art!

Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2011

If someone knows how to make excellent and charming dresses is Elie Saab, and this time was no exception. Fos his HAUTE COUTURE collection, he created amazing pieces with lots of floral details, textures, softness, and flawless finishing. I have to admit that he's one of my favorite designers, and I just LOVE his work and the transformation that he can give to some fabrics to create DREAMY DRESSES... I want them ALL!!

Check out my favorite pieces...

ALEXIS MABILLE HAUTE COUTURE SPRING 2011

I have to admit that I wasn't so surprised by his collection. After admiring all the amazing works from the great John Galliano, I thought it was like getting back to the cruel reality of minimalism. Despite of that, I have to admit that my favorite garments were so charming and represented the kind of dresses that I would like to see at a Red Carpet, or in my closet (if I had the chance to afford them). No doubt, Alexis Mabille is a great designer, with lots of innovative ideas, but let's face it... HAUTE COUTURE is all about the excessive creativity, the lack of rules, and amazing dresses that can dare our mind.

Here, my favorite looks.
